Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera) is an ancient herb whose meaning in Sanskrit is the smell of horse. It is the most important herb in Ayurveda which has many health benefits. It is also known as Winter Cherry. It is a small plant having yellow flowers and it is commonly found in many parts of India. Ashwagandha is scientifically proven to increase muscle strength and reducing stress. Extracts/powder of this plant’s root is used to treat various health conditions.
